West Coast back to Normalcy: Update

Jon Slangerup, chief executive of the Port of Long Beach, said it is now taking three to four days to turn each ship, versus five to six days last week. Even though turn around times are in fact moving faster, ships keep coming, and containers keep unloading off the vessels. While officials claim it will take 3 months to clean up the backlog, the math in this Journal of Commerce article may be stating longer.
