american-flag-2aThe Department of Commerce just announced that “U.S. exports set a new record, reaching $2.3 trillion in 2013.  This marks the “fourth consecutive year of export growth” for USA.  The National Foreign Trade Council also announced that the “U.S. trade deficit decreased by more than $63 billion.”

This is exciting news for not only the United States of America, but for its trading partners, as well.  Increasing U.S. exports means more jobs for the American people and better relationships with our foreign partners.  Even in a recession, USA has managed to increase its exports.  New trading agreements and enhancements in old ones only means a brighter future.  Good job, America!
