Spotlight on Tricia

Tricia “Trish” Lashley is the Domestic Fulfillment Operations Lead for Scarbrough Transportation, which is Scarbrough’s North American domestic brokerage and fulfillment operations company.  Trish has been a part of the Scarbrough team for 7 years.  In her time at Scarbrough thus far, Trish has proven herself as a leader in departments such as U.S. Customs Brokerage and Exports, and took on the fulfillment operations role as Scarbrough continues to grow.  Her responsibilities include providing e-commerce solutions to numerous vendors for Scarbrough clients and assisting the warehouse manager in daily operations. Trish is a wonderful addition to the warehouse and fulfillment team, taking passion in providing excellent customer service to clients she serves.

Tricia is a loving mother to two daughters, two son-in-laws, two-step-daughters, three grandchildren and another on the way! Outside of work, Trish likes to take it easy and have fun.  She has referred to herself as a “Jack of all Trades, Master of None,” but we all know she is fantastic with a set of tools, creative and artistic. She was a Navy spouse for 20 years, which gave her the opportunity to live in numerous states, and enjoy different cultures and meet wonderful lifelong friends. Having been stationed on Naval bases, Trish misses being near the ocean, which is her go to place when she can.

Biggest Fan

Trish’s favorite sport to watch is baseball. Being born and raised in Ohio, she is a major supporter of her hometown team, The Cleveland Indians.   The Kansas City Royals are claimed as her second favorite team. On a more serious note, Tricia’s oldest daughter is a childhood cancer survivor, so she is a huge supporter of the Childhood Cancer Awareness organization, and even shaved her head to raise awareness in 2015.  She is also proud supporter of the Veterans of America.

Fun Facts

Outside of her job her at Scarbrough, Trish dabbles with local politics by joining Kansas City Northland residents and political leaders at round tables regarding the concerns for Kansas City neighborhoods and city.  Moreover, Trish’s current household fosters animals for Wayside Waifs. She finds it to be a very rewarding to help out the animals, but equally hard to let them go to their forever homes.

Trish’s mantra is “Make Good Memories!”
