Director of Marketing
Kimberly Taylor is the Director of Marketing for Scarbrough International, Ltd. Kim focuses on the strategic development of the Scarbrough brand. She preserves the presence of this brand through a myriad of external and internal marketing efforts, including providing the trade community with free training on international and global trade topics through Scarbrough University. In addition, Kim upholds all aspects of employee relations, which is central to maintaining Scarbrough’s brand and culture. Kim also adds support to new business development and manages Scarbrough’s Client Retention program.
Kim is involved with the World Trade Center of Kansas City, KC Smartport, the International Trade Council of Greater Kansas City, the KCI Regional Air Cargo Association, Kansas Global Trade Services, the Iowa Economic Development Authority, the Greater Des Moines Partnership, and the North American Strategy for Competitiveness Organization (NASCO) and sits on the United Shipping Marketing Committe, as well as Kansas City’s City Union Mission Women Who Changes the Heart of the City Committee. Kim joined Scarbrough after completion of a MBA from Northwest Missouri State University (NWMSU).
She also holds a degree in Management and Marketing with an emphasis in International Business and a minor in Spanish from NWMSU. As a part of her studies at NWMSU, Kim also attended Instituto Sistema Tecnologíco de Monterrey (ITESM) in Cuernavaca, Mexico and Maastricht University in Maastricht, Netherlands. She has over 10 years in international and cultural experience, and has a love for learning and networking.
