Spotlight on Rob
Rob Pingul Jr. is the Warehouse Manager at Scarbrough’s newest facility in Sparks, Nevada. Rob has been with Scarbrough for 14 years in 2019, possessing nearly two decades of experience in the international and domestic shipping industry. Rob is an expert customer service, warehousing, prioritizing and problem solving to name a few, and a great guy to have in your supply chain.
When asked what expertise Rob had, he replied, “I do believe that being an expert in any field is about continual growth. That no matter the level of experience, you must be willing to consistently learn new things…. Except for when it comes to fishing. I consider myself a know-it-all-expert-angler, regardless of what any of my fishing buddies would say.”
More about Rob
Rob is a fishing fanatic, and even more so when he purchased my very own 17′ Lund. He enjoys all types of angling, which is a method of fishing including casting, trolling, jigging, floating, and even ice fishing. Over the last several years, Rob has been completely hooked on Muskie fishing. Every year in July, Rob spends a week on Lake of the Woods in Ontario, Canada in search for a trophy 50”+ Musky. He says, “With or without a trophy catch, there is just something special about being out on the water enjoying the time spent with family and friends that cannot be replaced.”
Favorite Travel Spot
Apart from the fishing lakes & rivers that Rob loves to visit, his favorite travel spot is Las Vegas. He says, “Las Vegas has everything I enjoy…even fishing on Lake Mead.” One of these days, Rob would really like to do a fishing, hunting, and site-seeing trip throughout Alaska. It’s still number one on his bucket list.
Biggest Fan
First and foremost, Rob claims to be the biggest fan of his two beautiful niece’s, Brianna & Emma. All of his friends and family are dear to him, but he says, “these two girls hold an extra spot or two or three.” After his nieces, he is a huge fan of MLB and NFL. Being born and raised in Chicago, he is a die-hard Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. He does like a few other teams, but he will only root for them if the Bears and Cubs are no longer championship contenders. Until then, BEAR DOWN and GO CUBS!!!!
