PSS Announcement January 15, 2015

U.S. Import Peak Season Surcharge for Full Container Freight

Carriers have announced a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for the Asia to North America Lane effective January 15, 2015.  Based on this information, please be aware that Scarbrough will begin charging PSS on FCL cargo that departs Asia on January 15, 2015.

Scarbrough continually works with carriers to waive or mitigate these charges.

If anything changes, we will inform you as applicable.

To all U.S. Destinations:

Rates will be $320/ $400/ $450

Per  20′ / 40′/ 40′HQ

Exceptions: This surcharge will not apply to origins in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia and French Polynesia.
