Sea and Land Ties cut with Qatar

During the first week of June 2017, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Egypt, Yemen, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain announced they were severing diplomatic ties with Qatar.  The nations said they would cut sea and land links. Scarbrough is monitoring this situation very closely as both air freight and ocean freight shipments in and out of the Gulf region could be impacted. However, most carriers have announced they are accepting new bookings for shipments from Oman and other acceptable countries to Qatar in order to bypass the restriction. [source]
