ILWU has a 24-Hour Stop-Work Meeting

 

The Pacific Maritime Association has been notifies by the officials of ILWU Locals 13, 63, and 94 that they will hold a 24-Hour Stop-Work Meeting on Tuesday, April 21, 2015.

No longshore labor will be available for work from 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015, until 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2015, except for passenger ships, essential military cargo, DST rail, and emergencies, as defined in Section 5.24 of Contract.

Due to the 24-Hour Stop-Work Meeting on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, workers will accept comebacks from Monday, April 20, 2015, to Wednesday, April 22, 2015.

Orders for labor Wednesday, April 22, 2015, must be placed and/cancelled at the Dispatch Halls per normal ordering schedule.New-ILWU-Logo-550-px

Although this meeting is nor scheduled in accordance with Section 12.31 of the PCL&CA and Section 12.11 of the PCWB&FA, PMA has agreed to grant the Union’s request to hold a 24-Hour Stop-Work Meeting on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, to present the Coast Contract Agreement to their membership
