Finding a supplier or buyer in another country can be difficult.

There are a lot of resources available out there.  It is important you find someone you trust. Go with your gut and do your research. First, we suggest you start by contacting your local economic development centers, small business administrations, country consulates, U.S. Commercial Service, and local Chamber or World Trade Center. These are all great organizations that can help take your company to the next level. Many of these organizations are state-based and even have direct partners in the country you are looking. They will help your company with international marketing, trade shows, finding buyers and suppliers, and even set up meetings in the foreign location you are looking. Don’t forget to ask about state grants to help fund your export plan!

Scarbrough also has local offices and partners throughout Mexico, and we have a very capable bilingual team.  If you would like Scarbrough to visit a potential client or supplier, please let us know. We would love to accompany you or even visit on your behalf.  Email insidesales@scarbrough-intl.com if you are interested in some help.
