Spotlight on Darcy

Darcy Barnes is a Senior Export Operations Representative, a Licensed U.S. Customs Broker, and a Certified Customs Specialist located in Scarbrough’s Saint Louis office.  

Darcy has been in the international trade industry for three decades and joined Scarbrough International, Ltd. in 2011, growing in her position to become a subject matter expert in animal health and pet food, letters of credit, and shipping to Brazil, just to name a few.  In addition to her export expertise, Darcy is HAZMAT certified in both air and ocean cargo, and an excellent resource to have on our export team.

It is safe to say that Darcy is also an expert in all things Corgi’s!

Darcy’s Favorites

Darcy is an avid knitter.  She says, “According to my husband, the yarn I have accumulated for my many projects borders on a fiber fetish or fiber enthusiast, but at a bare minimum, there’s enough to open a small yarn store.”

Favorite Travel Spot

Darcy would love to see all 7 Wonders of the World and visit all the U.S. National parks, but would be happy to see the Grand Canyon from both the South Rim & North Rim.

Biggest Fan

Darcy loves almost all furry cute creatures, but most of all, she loves her Pembroke Welsh Corgi (the ones without the tail).  Cote is her name!
