Canadian Rail Congestion Fee in Chicago

The Canadian Rail (CN Rail) is imposing a congestion fee for containers coming into CN Harvey Rail Ramp (Chicago) due to massive congestion.

Currently, the Rail is draying containers from Harvey Rail Ramp to other local facilities and imposing a congestion surcharge of $130.

Carriers must check with the rail ramp to identify location of the containers, which may be at Harvey Rail ramp or offloaded to other sites.

Scarbrough will notify our customers if they are affected and monitor the situation closely.  For questions, please email info@scarbrough-intl.com or your dedicated customer serve representative.
