Trump may be rethinking TPP

President Trump tells CNBC  he would reconsider the Trans-Pacific Partnership if the United States got a better deal.  In his interview with CNBC, he states, “I would do TPP if we were able to do a substantially better deal.”

The thing is that he is a little too late, since the remaining countries in the TPP agreed this week to move forward without the U.S., which will likely be signed in March.  Trump continues to argue that he doesn’t like multi-lateral agreements.  He says, “I like bilateral because when you have a problem, you terminate.”  You sure can’t do that with an agreement that houses several different countries.
