Scarbrough is a proud sponsor of the 2017 North American Strategy for Competitiveness (NASCO) Continental Reunion and will be attending in less than 6 weeks!   We would love for you to join us!  This is a once in a lifetime event to network, learn, and voice your concerns.  We invite you to join us or offer the opportunity to meet with current or potential vendors or customers for your company while in the area.

This year’s NASCO Continental Reunion Theme is:

Beyond Borders, Beyond Politics …

REGISTER and RESERVE your hotel room.

This year’s NASCO Reunion (October 24-26) takes us to the cosmopolitan and competitive city of Monterrey, the capital of Nuevo Leon. Rich in history and culture, Monterrey is considered one of the most developed cities in the entire country and often regarded as the most “Americanized” city in Mexico. An important and industrial business center, the city is also home to an array of Mexican companies, and many that do business with the United States.

The event takes place at the right time in regards to our current North American landscape.

Why?  The third round of NAFTA negotiations will be complete, and there’s even a possibility the fourth round will be completed.  The event will be an exciting few days of conversation. This is an event like no other. The facilitators are breaking up the “boring program” format with the following:

  • very few panels,
  • rapid fire sessions on key issues,
  • fishbowl networking, and
  • special three amigos NAFTA breakouts.

No matter what’s happening in North American news that week, our amigos will be able to share their keen viewpoints.

More about the Event:

Monterrey is located at the foothills of the Sierra Madre Oriental. Our host hotel is the distinctly Spanish Quinta Real Monterrey. Our members at Tecnologico de Monterrey are hosting the conference itself at their EGADE Business School, just a short distance from the hotel. Tec is the leading business school in Latin America due to the level of quality of its MBAs, postgraduates in business and Executive Education programs. The school and it’s campus are most impressive.

We hope you will join us in October – it’s going to be an incredible week in the beautiful mountains of Monterrey! You are welcome to come early — there’s plenty of activities outside of the city. You can go take a gondola up Friar’s Mountain, and then traverse the Garcia Caves. The Cascada Cola de Caballo, Horse Tail Falls, is also just outside the city. The most popular destination outside of Monterrey is Chipinique National Park. The park has a plethora of hike and bike trails that are nestled among beautiful groves of trees.
